Being a crucial member of SLIET family, Health Centre of the Institute is sincerely contributing in providing essential services to the students, employees, campus residents, workers during the challenging period of pandemic COVID-19.

To deal with the emotional problems and difficulties faced by students in coping up with current situation, online counselling sessions are being conducted by two visiting counsellors Mrs. Sherrain Rattan and Mrs. Harpreet Kaur. The counsellors have been allocated batches of ICD and UG students of different departments. Online group counselling sessions are being conducted every week. Average participation of more than 70 % has been reported. Few highlights of the sessions are projected below:





COVID-19 Testing Camps are also being weekly conducted by COVID testing team, deputed by District Health Authorities at SLIET Health Centre as precautionary measure and to prevent COVID-19 infection in the campus. The highlights of Testing Camps conducted  during December, 2020 are as below:



The students are reporting in the Institute in phased manner subsequent to the COVID-19 guidelines from Ministry of Health & Family Welfare for unlock. The medical staff is taking care of students by distributing medical kits and giving suitable instructions for consuming medicines for boosting immunity.








Pulse Polio Programme: Pulse Polio Program is conducted at Institute Health Centre as per the directions of the Government from time to time.
